Best Job in the World, wins Grand Prix at both PR and Direct Lions at Cannes



Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, η πιο viral καμπάνια που έγινε πέρυσι, η πιο απλή και συνάμα δυνατή ιδέα, και η ενέργεια με τις περισσότερες αναφορές στα mainstream media όλου του κόσμου, κέρδισε δικαίως τις μεγαλύτερες διακρίσεις στα Cannes Lions 2009, αποσπώντας το Grand Prix σε δύο κατηγορίες. Τα PR Lions και τα Direct Lions.

PR jury president Lord Bell said it was “an overwhelming and unanimous” winner among the 18 PR Lions awarded. “It is an absolutely classic campaign, a single-minded idea that captured the attention of most of the world’s media. If there’s anyone in this room who didn’t see it I’d be surprised.”

Direct jury president David Sable said: “We chose that campaign because it began with the simplest form of direct marketing, a situation-vacant ad, and followed through with a dialogue plus, of course, there are very few people who haven’t seen it." He added: “It has also done great things for the local tourism industry.”
